Twin Cities Parade of Homes

The show must go on! The spring edition of the Twin Cities Parade of Homes is open and ready to let visitors see the best of new home construction across the extended Twin Cities region. Each year Housing First Minnesota presents tours of new and remodeled homes to help area families choose the right home, builder, or remodeler for their needs. Once again, Key Land Homes is proud to be taking part, with eight homes available for touring.

The Parade of Homes takes place May 28 through June 14, every Thursday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. This scattered-site tour is free with the exception of a handful of Dream Home properties that have a $5 entry fee, though all proceeds help build and remodel homes for area families in need. This year, a few extra precautions are being taken. All homes will have a maximum occupancy of 10 people at a time following social distance practices and visitors are strongly recommended to wear masks and refrain from touching cabinet doors and lights. However, all high-touch surfaces will be frequently sanitized. Some homes are available for virtual tours only and/or by appointment.

Key Land Homes has seven homes you can visit throughout the Parade of Homes, and one property that is available for virtual tours and appointment-only visits. You’ll find our homes in Savage, Rosemount, Lakeville, Jordan, Prior Lake, and Woodbury, making it easy for you to find the right home for you in the right location. With homes ranging from $300k to $600k, there’s something for everyone.

For example, the home located at 1355 Ashbrook Path in Rosemount features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, 2,644 finished square feet, and is available for $408,325. From the lovely blend of stone and siding and a welcoming covered front porch on the outside to the multi-level interior that is spacious, open and bright, this is a home that has broad appeal. A similar home design with 2,543 square feet is available in Lakeville at 17303 Encina Path for $395,900. Both homes offer flexibility, convenience, comfort and outstanding details.

In Savage, at 15708 Wyoming Avenue, there’s a beautiful Signature Series home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and more than 2,460 finished square feet, along with an unfinished lower level that gives you room to grow. This is a wonderful open-plan layout that includes a spacious kitchen, a flex room to meet a variety of needs, lots of storage, and even a large mudroom to keep things neat and clean. This attractive home is available for $519,900.

For the ultimate in one-level living — but with the extra bonus space of a partial second level — the home at 5349 Pine Island Road in Woodbury is just the kind of home many people want. Priced at $619,900, this home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a master bedroom on the main level, and additional bedrooms and a loft area in the modified second story. With 3,420 finished square feet, it also includes a spacious family room with 11-foot ceilings, wood beams, and a stone fireplace. The beautiful kitchen is functional and fantastic, perfect for cooking simple meals or entertaining. The butler’s pantry adds a special touch, as do the numerous architectural details throughout the home.

These are just a few of the Key Land Homes on display at this spring’s edition of the Twin Cities Parade of Homes. Now is a great time to buy a home, but even if you’re just looking, you’re more than welcome to see all of the outstanding homes on display.
