Minnesota Severe Weather Awareness Week

This week is designed to remind and educate everyone about seasonal threats from severe weather and how to avoid them. This is also a time to make and/or practice your emergency plan and build or refresh your emergency kit.

Each day of the week will focus on a different weather safety topic.

Monday – Alerts & Warnings
Tuesday – Severe Weather, Lighting and Hail
Wednesday – Floods
Thursday – Tornadoes (statewide drills)
Friday – Extreme Heat
