A Few Great Dog Parks in Dakota County

Alimagnet Dog Park; 1200 Alimagnet Parkway in Burnsville

This is especially good for those water loving dogs.

It has 7 acres with a pond in the middle. It has been voted as one of the top dog parks in the country!

There’s a walking trail around the lake and a small fenced off area for tiny dogs.

Dakota Woods Dog Park; 16470 Blaine Ave in Rosemount

This 16 acre fenced dog park has wooded trails and a big open field for ball & Frisbee play. It is well maintained and has no lakes or ponds for those owners that want their dogs to stay dry.

Off Leash Dog Area; 3200 Borchert Lane in Eagan

This area has an open field with dirt & a wood chip trail along a hillside. There is a separate small dog area. For water loving dogs there is access to the lake that is controlled with gates. The entrance has a gazebo & park benches.

As with all dog parks, check for hours and fees and requirements. Also make sure your dog is up-to-date on all vaccinations (especially rabies)

Whether you have a brand new puppy, an overweight beagle or a faithful old dearly loved companion, a dog park is a wonderful place to play, exercise, and socialize for both your dogs and your family.
